Instagram Image Submission

Instagram's policies now make it difficult to search for all the posts you have tagged us in. We will continue to watch and post tagged photos as well. This submission format will make it easier for you to share your images with us directly.

This submission is only for the Instagram account. By submitting your images here, you are giving Radiant Aberration permission to post them on their Instagram account at any time in the future.

We prioritize photographic images using vintage materials, alternative processes, or experimental techniques, analog or digital. Please do not submit AI-generated images - that is not what our page is about.

When submitting images of photographic prints we prefer high-quality documentation, such as scans or evenly lit photographs of prints that have been cropped and color-balanced.

We often schedule posts several months in advance. The images we post are vaguely grouped in terms of a theme and paired with vintage photographs. This process can slow down the chance of any particular image being chosen. Even with works that are a good fit, it may take some time before they are posted. We do not guarantee that your images will be posted on our Instagram account.

We do not require a submission fee but appreciate donations to help us keep going and expand our programming. Donations are optional and will not considered when choosing images to post.

Image Files

You may submit up to 5 images. Please do not submit more than once a month.

Formatting: Image must be square, or exactly 8x10. You may add a plain boarder to create the correct proportions.

File specifications: JPG files should be 72 dpi, 2000 pixels longest size.

File name: YourLastName_FirstName_#ImageTitle.jpg

In the boxes below, please include the following for each image.

1. The Instagram handle you would like attributed.

2. Image title

3. Include any text you would like to add to the post. This could include the photographic process, material, or technique used, an Instagram handle of a model or helper you would like to shout out, location, quotes, or any other relevant information.

Example:

"Image title, double exposure, tone cyanotype. I have always wanted to photograph this tree. Thanks to @myfriend for carrying my tripod."

*Feel free to include as much or as little detail as you feel comfortable. However, Instagram limits posts to a specific number of characters. Your text may be trimmed if it is too long for this format.
